Implants

The dental implantology deals with inserting artificial teeth roots into the jaw bones, in order to replace the lost teeth. There are many forms of implants. Screws or rootshaped constructions made of titan or ceramics are mostly widespread. We have developed this precise technique as one of our system solutions. Either to replace missing teeth, to make bridges or as part of a fastening technology for prostheses. An aesthetic and secure solution that we implement on an outpatient basis.

Interventions for implants are less painful than they are thought to be. By means of precise presurgical diagnostics with digital xray, and DVT (volume tomography) an optimal result can be achieved in our practice.

Implants are artificial teeth roots, which are operatively implanted into the jaw bone. These teeth implants grow into the patient’s own bone and are thus solid pillars for individual teeth, bridges or prostheses. The implants we use are made as a rule from the extremely durable and corrosion resistant metal titanium. The greatest advantage of titanium is, however, that it does not cause any immunological rejection reactions (implant allergies). The bone bonds with the titanium leading to socalled osseointegration. We are familiar with titanium implants from general surgery as suppliers of artificial hip, knee and also shoulder joints. Because of his qualifications,Doctor Olesya Spannheimer & Colleagues are qualified implant experts with verifiably many of implantology cases. Using a previously prepared surgical template together with the x-ray image, this hightech method is something which a modern ambulatory oral surgery and implantology specialist practice can no longer do without. This safe and painfree operation can be performed in our clinicas an outpatient using a general anaesthetic, in local anaesthesia or by analgesic sedation (twilight sleep).
